The Reverend Dr. John Taylor Brantley has served as registrar of Latimer Theological Institute since May 2020. He was reared in eastern North Carolina outside of Fayetteville.
Dr. Brantley earned a Bachelor of Theology (Th.B.) in 2013, a Certificate of Theology in 2015, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education in 2020. In July of 2022 he completed a Doctorate in Christian Education (C.Ed.D.) from Wycliffe Theological Seminary.
In June 2015, Dr. Brantley was awarded The Old North State Award by the governor of North Carolina for exemplary commitment to improving the lives of others through service to disadvantaged children. He was also recognized as a Doctor of the University (D.Univ., honoris causa) by Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi Christian University in 2022.
In addition to his work at Latimer, Dr. Brantley is a trustee and teaches Latin at Trinity Springs Christian Academy in Cameron, North Carolina and serves as pastor of Boger Reformed Church in Concord, North Carolina.
